How to Play

Play Stickman Trail online for free. Stickman Trial is a 105-stage obstacle course where you control a stickman in a red wagon. Make it to the finish line on each level without crashing to make it to the next level. Unlock all 6 characters and all 6 wagons as you advance through the game. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Tap anywhere on the game load screen to bring up the welcome screen.
Select anywhere on the welcome screen to start the game.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
- The welcome screen has a level select button in the upper left corner and a sound control button in the upper right corner. Across the bottom there are 4 buttons for game developer information, wagon select, character select, and more games.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Tap any key to start each level. Your character will then automatically drive until you either beat the level or crash and die.
    - Press the up arrow key once to jump, or twice to double jump.
    - Press the forward key to add a bit of forward speed and acceleration.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Use the on screen controls.
        
        The jump button is in the lower left corner of the screen.
        
        The dash button is in the lower right corner of the screen.
        
        Controls & indicators
        
        The upper left corner has a level select button.
        
        In the top center the game shows what level you are on & there is a meter showing how far you have progressed through the current level.
        
        The upper right corner has buttons for restarting the current level and controlling game sound.
        
        The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked using an orange and white button, whereas the locked levels have a gray button.
        
        Game Play
        
        Tips & advice
        
        Use the dash button to break through yellow platforms.
        
        Some black boxes in the skies fall.
        
        Some of the blades on the ground move left and right.
        
        You can knock yourself out & lose if you hit your head on the underside of platforms above you.
        
        If you have a low clearance consider jumping once & then either using the dash button or waiting until you have came back down some before hitting the second part of a double jump.
        
        On some jumps you have to jump early so that you land in time to jump again.
        
        Levels
        
        This game has 105 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        
        You can go back and replay any beat level at any time.
        
        Some levels have highly unique designs, whereas some levels have designs that were similar to a prior level with a few extra obstacles added in.
        
        If you run into anything you die.
        
        There are many ways to die: fall off platform, run directly into something, touch spinning blades, partially land on a platform where one of your wheels catches an edge and falls off, hit your head on the bottom of another platform when jumping, etc.
        
        This game offers unlimited continues, but you start at the beginning of the level you died on when you continue.
        
        Levels are either pass or fail.
        
        You are not graded with stars or similar rating systems.
        
        Unlocks
        
        As you progress through the game you unlock different characters and carts. The changes tend to be more aesthetic than something which dramatically impacts the game physics.
        
        New wagons are unlocked after beating levels 5, 15, 30, 55, and 80.
        
        New characters are unlocked after beating levels 10, 25, 40, 65, and 100.
        
        You can switch back and forth between any characters and wagons you have unlocked.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for players who like ragdoll physics driving games.
