Caveman Adventure is a 21-stage platforming game where you help the caveman make his way back to his cave while avoiding dangers including spikes and falling off platform. Try to collect all 3 stars on each level to complete the game to 100%. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Select the yellow play button in the center of the game’s loading screen to visit the game’s welcome screen.

- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level star ratings.
- The welcome screen contains a sound control button in the upper right corner. Below the play button there are two buttons for game developer information and playing other games on our website.

    - Use your mouse left click button to select items from the bottom menu and left click on the positions you would like to place them on the level.
    - Left click on the caveman to start the level.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Use a finger to tap on the items you want to use and place them where you want to in the level.
      - Tap on the caveman to start the level.
      - Controls & indicators
        
        In the upper left corner it shows what level number you are on.
        
        Top center shows how many of the stars you have picked up so far on the current level.
        
        The upper right corner has 3 buttons for restart level, pause game, and sound control.
        
        At the bottom center items you have available to lay are shown along with how many of each you have.
        
        The level select screen shows how many of the 63 stars you have collected and what your star rating is on each level.
        
        Game Play
        
        Levels & dying
        
        The game has 21 levels.
        
        You can replay any prior beat level at any time to try to earn a higher star rating on it.
        
        Dying
        
        If you fall off platform or hit spikes you will die.
        
        If you die you start at the beginning of the current level & have to place all your items on the playing field again.
        
        Item functions
        
        As you progress through the game you unlock ham, a red pepper, and a blue vial of mystery solution.
        
        When the caveman touches the ham he changes the direction he is walking.
        
        When the caveman touches the red pepper he jumps.
        
        When the caveman touches the blue vial he pauses until you select him again.
        
        When to place items
        
        Some items are placed automatically by the computer before the level begins.
        
        Use these items as clues for the optimal path you must take.
        
        Some items you can lay at the beginning of the level.
        
        Lay as many items as you can so that you do not need to make many plays while the caveman is in motion.
        
        Some items you must keep stocked in inventory and then only use after the caveman has partially progressed through the level, as he must go through some platforms multiple times in multiple directions.
        
        Before you put him in motion ensure you have the right remaining object selected.
        
        Item placement tips
        
        Ham
        
        Ensure the hams are far enough out that you do not overjump them and can capture all stars before running into them.
        
        Red peppers
        
        When you lay red peppers you can lay them off platform in the chasm so that the take effect a bit later and give you a bit more lift to jump to another platform.
        
        Another advantage of laying some a bit later is it can prevent you from hitting your head on a platform.
        
        Blue vials
        
        Try to place blue vials close to the retractable spikes so it is easy to time when to put the caveman back in motion.
        
        Whenever you reach blue vials and clear parts of the level use that as an opportunity to see if there are other items in inventory which you can lay while his movement is paused, so that you minimize the number of items you need to lay into play while he is moving.
