How to Play

Play Dangerous Rescue online for free. Dangerous Rescue is a challenging 30-stage helicopter rescue game. Fly a helicopter over rugged terrain to pick up stranded people. Avoid hitting any of the obstacles and get back to base in one piece. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Left click or tap anywhere onscreen to begin.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

      • Desktop
        • With your keyboard
          • Press the left arrow key to fly left and ascend.
          • Press the right arrow key to fly right and ascend.
          • Press both left and right arrow keys to ascend directly upward without moving horizontally.
          • Release to descend.
          • With your mouse
            • Left click to fly.
            • Whenever you click your altitude increases.
            • If you click on the left side of the screen you will move left.
            • If you click on the right side of the screen you will move right.
            • Release to descend.
            • This game is far easier to beat with the arrow keys than by clicking the mouse.
              • Touchscreen devices
                • Tap on the screen with your fingers to fly.
                  • Tap on the left side to fly left and ascend.
                  • Tap on the right side to fly right and ascend.
                  • Release to descend, while still flying laterally in the direction you are facing.
                  • Controls and indicators
                    • The upper left corner of the screen shows a level timer with how long you have played.
                    • The upper right corner of the screen shows how many people you have rescued and what the level goal is.
                    • The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked & the best star ratings you have earned on the levels you have beat.
                    • Game Play
                      • Level selection.
                        • Levels are unlocked sequentially. Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
                        • Finish the current level to unlock the next one.
                        • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked to try to earn a higher star rating.
                        • Basic rules
                          • Steer the helicopter left and right to move up.
                            • The helicopter moves in a diagonal pattern in the direction it is facing whether ascending or descending.
                            • You can press both left and right arrow keys to ascend vertically rather than diagonally.
                            • Click or tap on one side will bring the helicopter over to that side. You must alternate directions to maintain altitude and steer.
                            • Avoid hitting any of the obstacles.
                              • Hitting anything will cause you to crash, which is an instant game over.
                              • You must also avoid moving to the edges of the playing field.
                                • The screen does not wrap, so hitting the left or right boundary will also cause you to crash.
                                • Part of your helicopter can bump past the screen edge without dying, but if your whole helicopter nears the horizontal level edge you explode.
                                • This game offers unlimited continues.
                                • Reach the trapped people scattered across the level.
                                  • You must arrive just above each person to be rescued & they will climb into the helicopter.
                                  • Approach them in such a way you do not hit any obstacles on the side on your approach or after rescuing them.
                                  • After picking up all the stranded people, you must return to the helipad. Once you do, you’ve cleared the level.
                                    • Dealing with obstacles
                                      • As you advance through the game levels get progressively more difficult. In addition to the fixed obstacles you encounter a variety of moving obstacles including:
                                        • airplanes
                                        • windmills
                                        • hot air balloons
                                        • rising water
                                        • erupting volcanoes
                                        • If an object is spinning you generally want to move in the same direction of the spin.
                                        • Some levels require you to pass a dangerous path twice. Other levels have narrow paths that are impossible to go through, which force you to take the long way around while trying to race a flood of rising water.
                                        • On some stages you land on the box where you started, whereas some stages have a second box to land on to exit the stage.
                                        • Star ratings
                                          • The game is timed.
                                          • The time it takes for you to finish the game is reflected on your star rating.
                                          • The faster you finish the mission, the higher your star rating will be.
                                          • You can earn up to 3 stars on each stage & can replay any level to try to earn a better rating.
                                          • Target Audience
                                            • The game is suited for players who like challenging flying obstacle course games.
                                            • The game has no adult themed content.
